Rosemary graduated from QUB in 1982 with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Law and obtained her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies in 1983. Rosemary holds a Masters in Human Rights and Discrimination Law from QUB and a Diploma in Organization and Manpower Studies also from QUB. She has also undergone Advanced Advocacy Training and is a panel member of the Law Society of Northern Ireland's Approved List of Mediators.

Prior to establishing the practice Rosemary was Director of Legal Services with the (then) Fair Employment Commission with overall responsibility for the exercise of its legal Case-law duties and formulation of legal strategy. She has been a Board member of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland and she has conducted courses and conferences on all aspects of Equality and Discrimination Law. She has written and lectured extensively in this field and formerly a member of the Senate of Queens University, Belfast, she is currently Legal Commissioner with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.

She was retained as a Consultant on Equality matters to Lord Clyde the Criminal Justice Oversight Commissioner for Northern Ireland. Her client portfolio includes public sector and corporate bodies as well as private individuals.

Anne Marie Featherstone LL.B. LL.M.

Anne Marie Featherstone LL.B. LL.M Anne Marie graduated from Queen's University, Belfast in 2002 with a high 2.1 Honours Degree in Law and Politics. She then attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen's University where she completed her studies and where she was awarded an overall distinction.

Anne Marie joined the practice in January 2004 and has since gained experience in a wide range of areas. She is particularly concerned with Matrimonial/Family Law and Conveyancing. In addition Anne Marie has considerable familiarity with Litigation, Debt Recovery and Wills.

In December 2006, Anne-Marie graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a Masters Degree in Human Rights and Criminal Justice. Her dissertation focused on children's rights and the Youth Court and was supervised by Professor Brice Dickson. Anne-Marie is a member of the Children's Law Centre and the Law Society of Ireland.

Jenine McCourt LL.B

Jenine McCourt LL.B. Jenine graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a 2.1 Honours Degree in Law. She then completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York where she obtained a commendation. She trained at a Commercial firm in the Midlands and qualified as an Employment Solicitor.

She returned to Northern Ireland in November 2004 and joined Rosemary Connolly Solicitors as an Employment Solicitor. Jenine has represented clients at The Tribunal, EAT, Courts of Appeal, High Court and House of Lords. She retains dual qualification. Jenine is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and was formerly the Northern Ireland representative on the ELA Management Committee.

Jenine is actively involved in employment forum groups within the Law Centre and The Equality Commission. She regularly speaks at Legal Island Seminars and is the contributor of the Employment Law NI twitter account.

Cathleen Jennings LL.B.

Cathleen graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a 2.1 Honours Degree in Law in 2007 and subsequently attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, where she completed her studies.

Cathleen joined the Practice in 2007. Since then she has been concerned in many areas of law including, Probate, Debt, Employment Law, Litigation, Family Law, Conveyancing and taking a particular interest in Immigration Law where she has been very successful in the matters she has dealt with and is a member of the Steering Committee for abuse cases in Northern Ireland.
