| | Settlement for Client in Landmark Discrimination Case Elizabeth Boyle instructed Rosemary Connolly in 2000 in relation to her employment difficulties and discrimination proceedings were commenced. Jenine McCourt, Associate Partner represented Ms Boyle throughout her proceedings and was successful in securing a settlement of £125k and successfully ensuring that employees with maintained/ management regimes receive protection from the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. The case also involved sex discrimination, unfair dismissal and victimisation.

The Claimants claimed political discrimination when their job offers were withdrawn once the employer discovered that they had convictions. The convictions were for political offences and the Claimants had been released under the Good Friday Agreement.
